STEAM Challenge: Can you make painted green eggs without using green paint?

Investigate if it is possible to create the color green without using green paint!

Step 1: Cut out an egg shape from white paper.

Step 2: Dip a cotton swab into blue and yellow paint.

Step 3: Mix the two colors on your paper egg.

What happens to the paint?

STEAM Integrations:

Science:  Experiment with mixing more colors of paint. What other color eggs you can create? How many different colors can you create?

Technology: Create a video to teach and document how to make the color green.

Engineering: Paint egg cartons with your leftover paint. Once the egg carton is dry, cut up the individual egg holders and try to stack and build with them.

Art: Paint on a paper plate to create your own version of green eggs and ham.

Math: Use your painted eggs plus a dice to create your own math game.
