STEAM Challenge: Build a marble run to help Dory find her way from Destiny’s tank to find her parents.

Video previously recorded. Join the Preschool STEAM Facebook group to catch our live broadcasts.

Materials: Recycled cardboard tubes, small boxes, egg cartons,  painter’s tape, marbles, empty wall or door

Prep Tip: Before you begin building, I recommend pre-cutting pieces of tape in advance.

Step 1: Decide on a small box to represent Destiny’s tank and a second box to represent Dory’s final destination, the Open Ocean exhibit.

Step 2: Use cardboard tubes and other recyclable materials to create “pipes” for Dory to travel. Secure your tubes and materials to a wall with painter’s tape.

Step 3: Test your pipes as you go to ensure your marble (representing Dory) will be able to get to the final box.
