Book: The Lorax by Dr. Seuss

Materials:

Play dough

Pipe cleaners

Colored Tissue Paper or Pom Poms

Measuring Tape

Step 1: Read the story and discuss how trees are important to people and the environment.

Step 2: Use the materials to build your own truffula tree.

Step 3: Measure how tall you can create your tree.
